Format for Chiropractic Care

All new clients, or those who have not been seen for 12 months or longer, will need to undergo the same format of testing prior to treatment.  Your initial consultation will take around an hour to complete.  

Initial Consultation - your Doctor will complete the following:

*  Completion of Health & Medical History Record Card

*  Neurological, Musclular and Orthopaedic Testing

*  An explanation of Chiropractic Care

*  Referral for X-Ray or MRI if deemed appropriate

Please note for initial examination you will need to wear sensible underwear or shorts with the option of a patient gown.  Please also bring information on any medication or supplements you are currently taking, including name of drug and doseage amount.

Second Visit - Usually 24-48hrs following your Initial Consultation

*  A Report of Findings will be presented by your Doctor, based upon their interpretation of your previous visits results - your report is yours to take home for you to view at your own leisure

*  Your Doctor will explain your Diagnosis, expected Prognosis and, if Chiropractic Care is deemed a viable option, a recommended individually tailored treatment plan to best suit your needs

*   Your Doctor will explain further any aspects of Chiropractic Care and answer any questions or concerns you may have

*  a re-examination date is set for the future to repeat the tests and a report is given at this time to show your progress objectively 
 
Further Treatment

*  Upon cessation of your symptoms, Wellness Care is highly recommended, in order to correct subluxations which occur, prior to them causing you a noticable problem.  Your Doctor will aim to eventually see you as little as twice per year for a checkup - just like when you visit your Dentist!
